In January 2002, I joined the Webheads in Action for an online teacher development workshop, and since then I've been actively involved in the cyberworld of education. I have co-moderated the Becoming a Webhead online teacher development workshop with Dafne Gonzalez since 2004 and have also co-taught, with Dafne, PP 104: Teaching Vocabulary and Grammar Online, a credited online course that is part of TESOL's &amp;quot;Principles and Practices of Online Teaching Certificate Program&amp;quot;.<br />I have two books published, NetAprendizagem:A Internet na Educação and O Email na Sala de Aula.<br />]]></description>

I tried using proprofs and created a (vocabulary) quiz for a group of mine. I liked proprofs - it certainly doesn't have as many features and options as quia, but it is free and it does't have the uploading problems people may face with hot potatoes, i.e. you don't need a server to upload your activity.
